Introducing: ATLAS

Everyday Coffee, Without Compromise

Guatemala completes our Trilogy.

All of our beans capture the magic of a single harvest. Some of them are being processed so well that we decide to run them for longer. We want them to be part of your daily routine. Atlas is the final coffee of our Core Collection, coming from the unique landscape of Antigua, Guatemala.

Genesis - Elemental - Atlas

Every coffee has its own character.

Carefully sourced through personal relationships with our partner farms, our Core Coffees offer the three essential flavour profiles that we love. Each one is a showcase of their origin while delivering dependable flavour for every day. We roast them with German precision, fresh in Berlin.

A remarkable journey: Genesis from Ethiopia honours the birthplace of Arabica, where the story of coffee began. It has delicious notes of peach and florals. Elemental from Brazil stands for the elements and our values in Specialty Coffee. This coffee has flavours of sweet chocolate and almonds. Atlas is grown in Antigua, Guatemala, reflecting the journey of coffee to the volcanic landscapes of Central America. Here, generations of producers have established one of the most celebrated coffee-growing regions in the world. Atlas is about balance. What we love about this cup: Notes of nougat and plum, with a long-lasting finish.

Meet the Producer

In the mountains surrounding the ancient capital of Antigua, the volcanic soils, high elevations, and cool air create ideal growing conditions for the kind of coffees we love: sweet, balanced, with unmistakable clarity.

Ricardo Zelaya of Finca Santa Clara is one of the last notable producers in Antigua. The land is simply too expensive and farms are being bought up by property developers. Ricardo realised early that he had to produce a world class coffee to generate sufficient premiums to keep his operations economically viable. For years, we have been working with Ricardo who, by the way, is also the producer of our Geisha Cascara. His work is consistent, transparent and dedicated. You can taste that in every cup.
