Our Christmas Coffee brings together everything we love about a beautifully balanced Single Origin. Los Naranjales opens with comforting notes of vanilla, milk chocolate and malt, complemented by the gentle brightness of sweet orange. Its silky texture and rounded sweetness create a smooth, inviting cup that feels especially fitting for the festive season. Enjoy it as a rich, balanced espresso or paired with milk, where its chocolatey character comes beautifully into focus. A versatile coffee made for slow mornings, shared moments and everyday enjoyment.
Francisco Morales has dedicated decades to growing exceptional coffee in Guatemala's renowned Huehuetenango region. Inspired by his grandfather, he began his journey at a young age and established his own farm in 1977 after raising 9,000 coffee seedlings. Situated near La Democracia, close to the Mexican border, the farm benefits from a distinctive microclimate where warm air meets cool mountain nights. These conditions, combined with Francisco's experience and dedication to quality, create an ideal environment for producing outstanding Arabica coffee.
Walking the estate and processing facilities, it becomes instantly clear that the level of execution is in another league; with meticulous lot separation, different processing styles, huge wooden wine crates and anaerobic tanks all visible. Like us, Mauricio is driven by a desire to reduce his environmental impact, using rainwater for his washed process coffee and reusing the skin of the coffee cherries after they are pulped to produce cascara.
The terroir has an ideal combination of clay and volcanic soils, producing coffees with character and complexity. Most lots are grown under shade and across the farm cypress and pine help provide habitat for a variety of flora and fauna.

Los Naranjales is a carefully washed coffee, processed to highlight the natural sweetness and clarity of the beans. After harvesting, the coffee undergoes a 40-hour fermentation before being thoroughly washed. The beans are then dried under 50% shade, allowing moisture to evaporate slowly and evenly while protecting their delicate structure. This considered approach preserves the coffee's smooth texture and refined character, resulting in a beautifully balanced cup with layers of sweetness and gentle fruit notes.
Bester Kaffee - karamellig und schokoladig wenig Säure - einfach perfekt
Sehr lecker, sehr empfehlenswert.
It tastes very good, I think I'm having an extra coffee a day because the taste keeps me coming back for another one.
I am looking forward to enjoying it this year too!
Love it!
Makes Christmas better
Makes me think of Christmas! Clean cup!
